Fred and Sharon (Sheri) Breggren of Nodaway will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary with an open house on Sunday, September 10th from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at the Bethesda Lutheran Church north of Clarinda.

Their children Christie (& Chris Vanderholm, Stanton, Beth Berggren, Canyon, TX and Doug (& Bonnie) Berggren, Villisca and their grandkids will host the event. No gifts please, but come and share your memories of their 50 years of blessings and help make new memories on the special occasion.

A Free Square Dance will also be held to celebrate on Sept. 29th form 7:30-10:00 at the Creston Methodist Church. Lunch is provided.

Wayne and Ruth Spencer, of Villisca, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on July 20. A reception will be held on Saturday. July 22, at the home of Rachel and Bill Jacobs from 2 to 4 p.m. The reception is hosted by their daughters and their families; Rachel and Bill Jacobs and Judy and Gary Westerman, of Omaha. celebrate their 25th Anniversary

Ray and Sharon (Rusk) Agnew were united in marriage on March 7, 1981 at the United Methodist Church in Villisca.

In honor of their 25th anniversary, their children Michael, Steven and Jennifer, are hosting an open house on Saturday, July 22, at the First Methodist Church, in Clarinda, from 2 to 4 p.m.

celebrate their 60th

On October 27th, 1945 Frank Fryer and Anabel Casey were united in marriage at the St Mary's Catholic Church at Red Oak. From this marriage Charlotte, Linda, Sherry and Sheila were born. The family held a celebration on October 15th with daughters and family to celebrate their 60 years of love and happiness.

Marvin and Marjorie Fisher

celebrate their 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Coon are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Marv and the former Marjorie Fisher have known each other since first grade in Villisca, IA.

In 1955 Marge was working for Phillips Petroleum Co. in Omaha, NE. They were married on Oct. 20th in the First Presbyterian Church in Omaha. Marv was in the U.S. Air Force so they made their first home in Roswell, NM where Marv was Base Exchange Officer at Walker Air Force Base. They moved to Albuquerque in 1957 when Marv joined Sandia National Laboratories where he worked until retiring in 1992, Marge devoted her time to their family and to church activities. They are at home at 3408 Stardust Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

Their family consists of their daughter Nancy, her son Tyler Oltmanns and his daughter, Madison, all of Fort Worth, TX and their daughter Peggy, her husband Scott Irwin, and their children, Amelia and Jeffrey, all of Bossier City. LA.

Members of the family recently returned home after a visit to help with the celebration.
